eSMS Africa charges per SMS segment, in the route's local currency, with volume discounts for higher tiers.
What's a segment?
A standard SMS is 160 GSM-7 characters. Longer messages are split into 153-character segments (or 67 for Unicode). You're billed per segment sent.
Currencies and tiers
Prices are shown in local currency per country (see the pricing page). Business and Enterprise tiers get lower per-segment rates. There are no setup fees and credits never expire.
Topping up
Add credit from Billing → Top up in your dashboard. Your balance is charged automatically as you send.
