Install

macOS

Download the Universal .dmg (Apple Silicon + Intel, macOS 12+). The app isn't notarized yet, so the fastest path is the one-line installer, which downloads and de-quarantines it for you:

If you installed the .dmg manually and see "eSMS Workspace is damaged and can't be opened", run:

xattr -cr "/Applications/eSMS Workspace.app"

Windows

Download the 64-bit installer (.exe) for Windows 10/11 and run it.

Linux

Grab the .AppImage (any x86_64 distro — mark it executable and run) or the .deb for Debian/Ubuntu.

Using it

  • One window, four services. A left rail switches between Email, SMS, SMPP and Admin. You sign in once — the session is shared across all of them.
  • Notifications & badge. The apps' notifications become native system notifications, and unread counts show as a badge on the dock/taskbar.
  • Auto-updates. New versions download quietly in the background and apply on restart — you'll see a prompt when one's ready.
  • Links open in your browser. Anything outside eSMS opens in your default browser.

Prefer the web? Everything's still at auth.esmsafrica.io — the desktop app just wraps the same apps.
