eSMS Mail isn't only for sending. Switch on the dashboard inbox for a domain and email to any address on it arrives right in the app — read it, reply, compose, all from your own domain.

Turn it on (2 steps)

  1. Verify your domain in Domains (add the DNS records we show you).
  2. Add an MX record pointing mail to us, then flip Dashboard inbox on: 
    Type: MX   Host: @   Value: send.esmsafrica.io   Priority: 10

Within about 2 minutes, mail to any address @yourdomain.com (catch-all) lands in your Inbox. Enabling the inbox turns off forwarding for that domain — a domain is an inbox or a forwarder.

What you can do

  • Read messages and download attachments.
  • Reply — sent from the address that received it, authenticated so it lands in inboxes.
  • Compose new messages; use Sent, Spam and Trash folders; search.
