Delete your account

You can delete your eSMS Africa account yourself. Deletion is permanent, so we give you a 30-day grace period in which you can change your mind.

Request deletion

• Open Account → Security.
• Under Data & privacy, choose Delete account.
• Confirm with your password. You can add a reason if you'd like.

The 30-day grace period

Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days out. Until then you can sign in and select Cancel deletion to keep it. After 30 days, your profile and personal data are permanently erased and sign-in is revoked.

For legal and tax reasons we keep a record of past payments, but they're stripped of personal identifiers.
