What is a sender ID and how do I register one?

A sender ID is the name that appears as the sender of your SMS — for example "eSMSAfrica" instead of a number.

How to register

In your dashboard go to Sender IDs → Request, enter the sender name (up to 11 characters), the countries you need, and your use case. Our team handles operator whitelisting on your behalf. Registration time varies by country.
